I wanted to share my Bali Shortcake Acro that I got from Unique a couple of months ago. It has had great growth so far and the colors get better everyday. I am running radion pros at 55%. This picture was taken with my iPhone and radions were set to 20k. So you can see this coral will not only live but thrive under the right LEDs. This has become my new favorite Acro. Thank you Scott Fellman and Unique Corals for sending me such a great coral. Zach

Got one too a few months ago. Mine's still growing a good base.

Yeah, I have two frags of this that look great and are turning into mini colonies themselves. However when I saw this one I had to have it... I guess I'm a little impatient.

Sounds like mine. It was slow growing and brown for the longest time.

Hard to capture the blue tips but they really set this piece off

Beautiful! One of my favorite acros. Been looking to get another one myself. Lost mine a while ago

Nice pieces lemonade and sawdonkey! The pics almost look like the acros were in the same tank, at a glance. Man this coral is so under rated. It never comes up on anyone’s favorite list which is amazing. This coral looks amazing in basically any tank and there are a number of variants that look really nice as well.
Bump for more pics, uc lineage or not.

Thanks, I thought the same thing. We’re both getting the same color and we shot under the same lighting. I’m really glad this thing is growing for me.

Have you seen the blue light orange filter shots of this? It looks like it should cost $1k per 1/2 inch. Note...not my photo!!! I don’t take shots like this.

It's definitely an underrated coral. I think the tendency for this piece to be a bit finicky makes it less common than some of the other similar morphs like the firecracker for example. It's been my experience that if anything goes wrong it will brown out, and frags always seem to brown out until new growth begins.

I will try later to get a better pic of mine showing more of the blue tips it gets. You can see them best when lights are out and some sunlight is hitting them. All around just a really cool piece and grows pretty dang fast when it's happy.
