I won't know 100% till I get the permanent fixture on there but it'll work for now.

Id be worried about unwanted algae with the window being right there

man if I lived in new york, my head would always be looking through the window blocking the sun out.

wow didn't even know about your shop I go to Hofstra out on LI and am in the city quite often i'll have to stop by and check it out!

Wow i saw this tank when i was in there but it was brand new and had nothing in it at that point. Still, it was an amazing looking tank!!! Can't wait to go back and see the finished product. Man do i need to get an elos tank!

Everybody's very diligent with algae scrubbing here @ the store. Running phosphate reactors aggressively will also help out significantly. If anything, it should really help the growth of these corals with 6,500k coming through the window. :)

LOL

Where in LI? Definitely stop by if you can, it's well worth the visit. We're right near the Javit's center.

We have a lot of progress in one day. It's looking real good after two days of hard work.

Good looking tank. I just love the way Elos tanks look.

awesome new addition !
Thank you for the kind words, Joey and Ahayes!

Very nice tank. I am patiently waiting for the used ones for sell here in Socal.

Is it ATI fixture or Tek fixture ? Your first post said ATI fixture. But it looks like the Tek fixture to me. Either way...they are nice fixtures.

Very nice tank Unique Corals. Im looking into upgrading after summer, im putting my thoughts together now deciding what i want. Elos is a clean system. Im going for something like 30x24x20 rimless.
Look forward to seeing this chalk full of goodies.
Enough about the darn tank, the beauty is WHATS INSIDE!?>!?!?! what are you planning on putting in this sucker? Would make a KILLER zoa/acan tank i think.

I think it said the Tek was temporary...

Vince, do you still have your personal Elos system?

Yeap - it's a Tek hanging. Patiently waiting for the ATI to arrive. :)

You read my mind, Austin - It's going to be a LPS / Softies dominated tank with very few select SPS to give the overall aquascape some depth. I already added some very nifty fish in there along w/ couple of my favorite frags. I'll get some shots real soon. :D

Yea, I still have it but it's just sitting home right now with some snails and a diamond goby in it...lol I'm contemplating bringing it in to the store so I can put more time and care into it.

Sweeeeet!!!!!!!

Direct sunlight does NOT cause an Algae bloom. There are MANY factors that would cause it, but sunlight alone is not to blame.

That is a GREAT tank!!!! I can't wait to see it progress!

ATI Fixture arrived. :)
