Unique Livestock For 20 Gallon

I plan on upgrading my 10 gallon bare bottom to a 20 gallon reef.
I currently don’t have any fish, only coral and inverts.
I think clown fish are really cool, but everybody has one. I’m looking for something unique, a somewhat easy fish (or inverts) that not many people have.

Whitespotted pygmy filefish.... Fang blennies.... And basslets such as yellow assessors or randalls assessor don't get nearly as much attention as they should.

They are easy to care for as they are captive bred from ORA and will hang out in view as active swimmers.

You will probably have to put in a little more leg work and money to find them as they are not always available to buy.

A hi-fin goby and candy cane pistol are very colorful and would do well in your 20.

I would get a pair of clowns I know you said everyone has them ,, there is a reason for that get yourself a smallish clay pot for them ,, they will host it at some point ,, lay their eggs in it and pretty much not stray to far from it ,, angle the pot where you can see into it ,, I have a pair of Black Ice Clowns ,, awesome looking fish ,, you can also add a Blenny ,, Fire Fish or whatever strikes your fancy ,,,

• both gobies and pistol shrimps comes in unique colors/patterns

Fang blennies don't eat algae and unlikely to bother corals. They will hunt for stray pods and eat out of the water column. They don't perch.
