Uniseal bulkheads & drill hole size

Hey, putting a seperate to sump glass tank refugium rig together and drilled a 65mm hole for a 1.5” bulkhead. there isn’t actually room on the inside overflow box for the bulkhead to fit though so looking at a 1.5” uniseal bulkhead which fits. Only problem is the drilled hole size for the 1.5” uniseal bulkhead is only 64mm. do you think it will be ok? What about adding some of that paste/mud stuff you can add instead of tape on threaded joints? Hoping someone has crossed this bride and not caused a flood
