Can someone tell me what kind of algae this is? Been looking around and I can't find anything that really looks like it since it doesn't grow. Been on my rock for awhile now, never grows any longer. It has looked like that for months now. Hasn't changed or gone away. I don't have any GHA problems on my rock anymore, been a long time since I've had any noticeable GHA. Is it old dead GHA stems or something? That rock also had a bit of byropsis back in the day.
It's mainly on this rock, which is one of my original rocks since the beginning.
Tank has been going for about 1.5yrs.
Also what's the best way of removal? Coral is attached.
