I recently got new live rock and I dipped on before putting it into my aquarium... Out came these three cute anemones that I have never seen before... I did find out their name,Anemonia sargassensis, anyone know of they are safe? From observation they are sticky and healthy... They don't like direct light... Any ideas??

Sorry, there is a typo. There are only 7, not three, auto correct chimed in and did that.

My guess would be that these will multiply similar to mojanos and other anemones and soon take over your entire tank. However it’s hard to tel the color from the picture. If yours look like this

I wouldn’t think twice and tossed them.
If they look like this

I would consider keeping them even as a pest but then still would’ve tossed them out. Battening small anemones is not easy and they do take over pretty fast burning the bases of your Corals, spreading everywhere etc.

Thanks for info. My have a more reddish or maroon hue to them, I don't think that they will split in captivity..

Also update. From the time I introduced them yesterday, they all found their spots in little holes and crevices and one is on the back of my hermit! Lol. Looks cute
