Hello ladies and gents,

I just received a few frags and noticed something odd in one of the plugs. It's this tiny white, translucent bubble thing. Really just want to know if it's something i should try to eliminate before putting in the display.

Thanks!

doesn't quiet look like the pineapple sponges I've had before- but i guess you guess are right, it probably is a sponge!

You should look into dipping your frags in something like Bayer or Coral RX. I even replace my frag plugs to ensure pets don’t get under the frag itself. This can save you a huge headache down the road.

I do- i have the brightwell dip. I just don't want to kill anything that can positively increase the micro fauna, you know? I have a pretty sterile system right now and i'm trying to get some sponges and bristle worms in here. In another frag, there is't a tiny feather duster!
