Hey all, wondering if anyone can ID these bubbles growing on my frag? And if they are problematic/need to be taken care of somehow?

Thanks in advance!

Manually twist off the bubbles to remove.
Bubble algae.

Cheap dental pick type tools from the drugstore are perfect for this. You will use them for other things in the future too.

When you can remove a plug, I recommend removing the bubbles and hold the plug while dribbling h2o2 all around the base but not on the coral. no risk of hurting the coral that way. Also good for new frags that have any type of algae on them.

Bubble algae. See if you remove coral from frag plug if there is any BA actually on the coral. It could just be on the frag plug/glue. That would be the easiest way. I see they are Acans. As mentioned earlier in thread hydrogen peroxide bath would work also.

...after you remove the plug from from the tank. Then scrape as much as you can and treat with H2O2.
