Hey guys, I bought a black sun colony back in January and near the base there appeared to be a skeleton of some kind. Fast forward to now and it's grown into a polyp of some kind. Any idea what it is? Its a the size of a dime.

I would guess it’s possibly a galaxea.

Am leaning towards galaxea too or similar species from the Oculinidae family .
Pretty LPS but if it's a galaxea , it will have pretty long sweepers as it grows . So you might have to isolate it later once it grows a bit .

Regards,
Abhishek
