Hey everyone!

I bought this coral as one small polyp that looked like a blip of yellow on some flesh. I grabbed it from a random $5 bin and the guy at the LPS wasn't sure what it was. It has grown to about the seven heads you see in the pic. (It had two more but I had a small die back last month.) I really have no idea what it is. It doesn't seem thick enough to be a chalice, its not an sps that I know, could it be a type of zoa? But the polyps aren't really separated enough for that... I'd love some feedback and have attached a photo below. If you want me to try to get a different photo, let me know!

bottom left, apitasia. Upper center Purple & green cyphastrea and it is in the perfect place

Cyphastrea makes sense! Thank you! I killed the apitasia -- sorry about that! I keep a needle and lemon juice by the tank. In a few months I'm hoping to get a copper band butterfly to help with controlling them. I'm glad the coral is in a good spot. It seems happy there. I'll have to research it a bit more (I haven't had one before).
