Have a few of these small bright green specs on the sand wondering if anyone has any clues as to what it might be? Tia

Any full tank shots you can provide ?

What kind of corals do you have in your tank?

Anything that is irritating the coral could cause it’s polyps to detach. I once found parts of my goniopora colony buried for a day (dang pistol shrimp) and found bright tiny neon polyps on the sand bed. A powerhead also detached once, blowing directly at my toadstool leather and detached a polyp.

I’ve had this happen to me also I have a little cluster of something but I see tiny stinging tentacles on mine it’s a little cluster of three that loosely gets kicked around by the flow not sure what it is either I’ll also have to post a picture of it I have no coral in my tank that resembles it unless it’s a baby ultra rock nem

I also did not realize that it was my goniopora until I saw my goni shriveled up at night since the polyps look very different in coloration and texture when expanded versus a disturbed state. Maybe take a look at your corals when the lights are off to see if any polyps look similar to that of the ones on your sand bed?
