Good afternoon all,

I purchased 17 corals three months ago and dipped treated them all successfully. shortly after that time, I moved the corals up from the sandbed to their respective homes. Since then, I have noticed this little bud which I have not been able to identify. What is it exactly? If I disturb it or move it during WC's , the polyp retracts.

It's definitely a living specimen.

Its aiptasia, best to remove now. Can be eradicated with aiptasia-x, filefish or berghia nudibranchs

Aiptasia.

Oh wow, never thought that's what it could be in a million years. Thankfully its isolated and I can just scoop it out. Thank you all for the quick response
