Hello, I was staring at my tank like usual when I noticed I have a very odd looking set of critters grouped up along the side of my glass and sand bed. It wouldn’t be possible to get a picture of these due them being so small. They sincerely look like a swimming sperm. Swimming against the flow and back down to the sandbed. I then looked to my rock work and noticed hundreds of little bugs I could get an ok video of I’ve included it below. I have searched for about three hours and have no clue as to what either of these things could be, I have no idea how long either of these have been in my tank because it’s almost impossible to see them, I used a magnifying glass and can see a small hint of red along the body on the bugs that are in the rocks. They are pretty transparent and about the size of a pin tip, some very slightly larger. I have a feeling they aren’t beneficial but I could be wrong. The quality and color was as best as I could do with my phone.

Free food for fish and coral. very typical from live rock. Should look like this close up:

That pinned it right down, or NOT. Amphipods, copepods, isopods? Do you get what I saying. Pictured are Amphipods and they're not always harmless or beneficial, most of the time but not always.
The only amphipods that would be harmful and not beneficial would be your much larger pods. Even then they are not a major concern.
