Good afternoon to you all

We decided to re-arrange our live rock this weekend and I noticed this black shadow secreting a small substance from 2 appendages. The side appendages look leaf like and there is an appendage in the middle with ridges on top. It appears like a tongue between 2 leaves. I have attached 3 pictures and on 2 of them you can see the secretion of a small white substance. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking though. The closest thing I could think of from research is a nudibranch but it appears attached inside the little hole. I am going to try and take pictures inside the tank and see if I am able to get better pictures.

Here are more pictures. It actually closed up and appears to be a type of mussel. This section of the live rock use to be the bottom before the rearrangement of the rocks.

Any ideas based on this?

Sweet!! Thanks for helping out. The tank is about 3 years old, and we have never noticed this critter till today.

Ive got at least two of those in my tank... the are small clams and I don't think they are harmful at all.
