Unknown entity on bottom of WYSIWYG

Bought a WYSIWYG and this is the bottom of the plug. Looking for an ID on the two circled pieces.

The top one looks like some kind of colonial tunicate, the bottom one is most likely either tunicates or a sponge, but I can't tell which from the picture (with a lot of things like this, it's easier to ID them in the water, as they often just look like a gelatinous mass out of the water).

Will send a picture in water when I get home, if it is a tunicate should I remove it?

Tunicates are harmless filter-feeders, but some colonial tunicate species can be pretty invasive; so if you want to keep it, then you may want to isolate the frag in an area where it's easy for you to contain any excess spreading.
