Unknown growth near my mushroom

So I have no clue what this is but it showed up 2 weeks ago and it's already huge, I was thinking of picking it off but I'd figure it would be best to have a professional look at it first

How long have you had the rock in there?That's sort of what my Devils hand looked like when I put in some new live rock.

About3 months, just to make sure we're both talking about the brown growth to the left of shroom

Hard to tell, and I'm no expert, but have you seen extension from the little dots on it, kind of like individual polyps on the main body

That's what I was looking at. Just a guess, but that's what my pic looked like about 9 months ago

What mushroom are you talking about? Or do you mean the toadstool?

That thing that's circled is all New in two weeks time, not sure where it's from but it came right out of the rock. The rock was dry for about a year up until about2 months ago

I think its a type of valonia... bubble algae... I've had something similar grow in my overflow.
