Unknown growth

Can someone identify this (algae) growth on the glass, it is also on the rocks.

Looks like a bunch of healthy coralline algae to me - you can scrape it off the glass; most people like seeing it cover their rocks.

I believe you are referring to the pink growth which is coralline.

I'm talking about the red/ rust colored stuff growing on top of the coraline

I think I can see what you're talking about - the black/darker looking patches on the rock and the otherwise bright pink coralline, right?

If so, I think you may need to scrape some of it out of the tank into a bowl of tank water and get some clear, closer up (possibly microscope) pics of it for an ID.

If it popped up fast and scrapes off easily might be the beginnings of some cyano. If not, and my personal guess based on the healthy look of the tank, I'd say the beginnings of some red coralline algae growth
