Unknown growth

Can anyone identify this please? It’s quite a stiff growth. Keep or pull off!

It might be some green Gracilaria or Cladophora, which would both serve as a home for pods and absorb excess nutrients (though Cladophora is said to be difficult to completely remove from rockwork). I would keep it. I have some and it has been growing very slowly in my planted marine aquarium.

Actually, looking at more pictures, I believe it might also be the pest algae, Cladophoropsis, though I am not sure. Maybe @Tigahboy could help.

Not a wire algae but what looks similar in texture to codium
May and may be beneficial in nitrate control

Personally, it looks too smooth and thin to be Codium (which is thicker/globular and is velvety), but I agree that this is an awesome macroalgae.
Never said it was codium- I said similar in texture and being a macro algae. Macro algae as I indicated will help in removal of nitrate
