Unknown hard shell tube thingy.

Unsure what this is. Never seen anything come out of the tube until last couple days. I’ve had the frag for about 5 months but never thought anything of it because it looked like a rock before. The smaller redish section has grown in the last week.

Is this guy dangerous at all and what is it?

Vermetid snail and a known pest. Take a pliers and break off entire shell at the base and discard.

Yep, vermetid. They send out a mucus net to catch food, which irritates nearby corals. Definitely pop it out as vetteguy said.
