Saw this on my sunny d frag wondering what this was.

Looks like a mushroom coral

Looks like a vermetid worm IMO.

If it's soft I'd say a discoma mushroom.

Yeah I was unsure if it was hard or soft. If it's hard then definitely a vermitid...

Vermetid, snap it off with a pair of pliers.

I thought it was also a mushroom but when I feed my fish and corals. There was stringy net coming from it. Would that make it a vermetid snail?

Yes that sounds like a vermetid snail... They can multiply and get out of control if unchecked. You can put a dab of superglue over the opening of the tube, or Snap it off with tweezers.

Yea once I saw the web being pulled back into its mouth knew that's what it was. Snappednit off with tweezers thanks everyone for the help
