Hello,

Does anyone know what these things are? I noticed them a few months ago and I keep seeing more and more of them infesting my tank. Is there a way to get rid of them? I don't even know what they are called. Please see attached.

Thanks for anyone's advise.

Mark

looks like aiptasia from that picture...

They are aiptasia peppermint shrimp eat them but you can kill them with lemon juice or aiptasia x. I used peppermint shrimp they removed them all in the first week.

It seems to be isolated to just that one rock any chance you can take just that one rock out and let it dry out?

If you can remove and treat outside of the tank, make sure you rinse it off very well so none of the polyps are left to regrow.

Thank you for your help on this problem, looks like I have some work to do as I have way too many to get rid of. But at least I now know what they are and how to get rid of them.

First two picture look to be, can't make out the other two.

ok. Thanks for your answer. For the last 2 pictures I will wait a little bit to see how they grow

The last pic is blue sponge and barnicles, not sure about the 2nd to last pic

I had a huge infestation. Used Berghia Nudibranchs to eliminate them. That's all they eat.

That looks like some kind of polyps or something. Don't think it's a problem.
