I'll try to get a picture later tonight if I can get my GF's camera. I know I hate when people ask for ID's without pictures but I'm doing to do it anyway
I've noticed in one of my tanks I've got two frags of zoa's that have a small white growth around the plug and on the stem of the zoa's. They kind of look like the little white dandelion seeds (you know the ones you can blow on and they go all over the place). It seems like a thin white "web" but at the ends it has what looks to be a little white flower. I checked out all the pictures on zoa-id and have googled everything I can possibly think of but cannot find a picture.
The zoa seem irritated but otherwise healthy (they don't seem to be deteriorating or anything). However on the frags that this is happening some of the polyp's aren't opening or are only opening partially.

I just yanked both of the frags out and brushed them with a tooth brush. A couple people from the local reef club also recommended putting epoxy or some type of putty on them but I don't see how I can do this if their in the middle of a bunch of zoa. Any suggestions?
