Unknown red Coralline algae??

So one of my snails has Coralline algae on its shell but then BRIGHT red under it what is it?? Should I remove from tank and scrape off??

Take a Soft Tooth Brush, and see if it is Cyno Bacteria. If not let it be. There are as many colors of Coraline Algae as in the Rainbow, I’ve even seen Green, Yellow/Oranges and Purple/Blues.
 
Coralline comes in nearly every color. It is all good. Most of it does not like a lot of light and will die off, but the darker red or burgundy is quite common from the Gulf and looks nice alongside the purple.

Here is one of my photos from a while ago. If it looks like the burgundy on here, then you are good.

Lol brown (yuck) ! That’s crazy love the pink and now red had no idea thought it was just pink and purple
 
There is green too. ...like gross green.

Blue, yellow and orange used to come in on pacific rock and did really well under daylight... kinda died out when heavy blue lights came out.
