Half of my clownfish eggs hatched last night and most were caught by the vossen trap.
In addition to the clownfish fry, the trap also caught a bunch of tiny shrimp. They're about 1/3 the size of newly hatched clownfish fry.
Anyone have an idea?

Do you have any cleaner or other ornamental shrimp in the aquarium where the spawning took place? If so, I would assume that to be their own spawn.

I have peppermint shrimp multiples and a single Pederson cleaner shrimp

I know it's not the peppermints because I have caught their babies and they are larger than these

That makes perfect sense then, peppermints commonly breed in the aquarium. You could either try and raise them (they can be raised just like the clowns, but in a separate tank), or put them back in to the tank and watch you're fish go wild, you're choice. I could be cool to raise them up, but it would also mean another whole setup.

It may be a mysid shrimp. Do you feed frozen mysis? I see teeny tiny baby shrimp usually a few nights after feeding and have read somewhere that they can hatch from frozen?

I know they're not peppermints as I have caught those larvae as well and they are much larger than these.

Seriously?!
I feed two types of mysis so this is plausible if true.

Yeah I saw these little ones before I got my cleaner shrimp. You can see them swimming around or getting blown around by your flow at night!
