Unknown worm?

Good evening,
Was doing some close ups and discovered this critter. This is the base of a hammer coral (forgive the glue blob lol). Cant tell if its a worm? It appears to be anchored to the same spot, but does extend and react to a flashlight. I feel like Ive poured ober the ID threads peetty well, but still unsure. Thanks a lot!

I’ve got somthing similar and nipped at it with tweezers thismorning but it seems to of moved or be hiding, something haven’t seen them do any harm but if you find out what it is please let me know

One other pic to maybe help with ID. Appears to have a hairlike tentacle maybe stinger? Not a huge deal tho, Ill be removing it tonight.

Talked to my LFS and they said it’s likely a type of bristle star and nothing to worry about

Appreciate the replies. I found a couple more hydroids, and from what Ive read, sounds like I need to get rid of them pronto. Thanks again.

The video kind of looks like a small medusa worm, but I can't see the crown. If it is not that, is there any tubing around it with sand attached?

Thanks Blue, I didnt notice anything that resembled tubes or sand. Those balls in the pic are part of it, not separate...
