saw this little guy in my tank and immediately got him out. have no clue what is is can’t find anything about it. moves almost like a jellyfish???

Have you recently added live rock? It does look like a baby upside-down jellyfish. Not a pest per se, but a specialty animal to keep.

Oh, yeah, upside-down jelly. Very cool. Maybe find a really low-flow area in your tank, put it inside a glass cup, and see how it does? They plant their top against the ground and pulse gently in place, they don't move around like other jellies. You can read up on their care, and if you don't want it, you could always just give it away once it gets a bit larger.
