I saw some with the heater and temp probe on aliexpress, it's the most expensive option, coming in at $52 ish. But still forever on shipping.

Side note, I'm in too! Nailing down which one I'm ordering from today. So cute. I did want a sumped aquarium for my birthday..... I almost bought a (used) reefer 350, but got scared away from the complexity of it all. This seems like a good compromise, lol.

That is where I purchased mine. It was the recommended US distributor on the official MCT website. Located in Georgia. My tracking number says 3 days. A little more expensive than the eBay and Ali versions, but I am impatient.

Don't worry, I'm also grabbing one off of Ali, so we'll push back the start date a bit to accommodate a larger group I don't mind waiting a couple months to make sure everyone can participate.

A couple clarifications: no plumbing your MCT to a larger/established system. I'm thinking a *small* add-on is okay if you're trying to make a fuge or more involved DIY sump. However, it must be mini, so I'm thinking .5 gallons or less for any sump/fuge add-ons to keep the competition based around the tiny tanks.

It's happening! We've pushed back the start time a bit to give everyone a chance to get their supplies and participate.

How about everyone tries to get tank orders in by the end of this week so we can get this going asap? Does that sound reasonable to everyone?

I thought the MCT was a lot smaller than it is until I saw a picture with a soda can inside it. Plenty of room!
