I heard there was some people who like mini stuff here... I understand I can't really "compete" since this isn't a MCT, but I'll gladly root from the sidelines!
Here's some custom 40oz and 32oz mini tanks that I built!

It’s funny that this thread is popping up because I had never heard of the Mini Complete tank until I was on the @PNWCustom website a couple weeks ago. They make a frag rack that fits in this tank. I’m totally in for this little contest!

Made a little rockscape and filled her up.
Dual drain, single return with 90° nozzle
50gph Return Pump
3w betta heater
Inkbird heater controller
Micro ATO
Filter pad and crushed live rock media
Water, sand, coral, and media transfered from my display tank.

Nice! I just ordered A frag rack from you guys.

You guys are a bad influence. :p I'm going to do 2 tanks: one a freshwater planted and the other a reef.

Reef is dry and the freshwater is partially filled with water. I'll start a new thread on it.
Welcome! Please post your entry to this thread!

Hey everyone!

Please don't be alarmed if you get a message reminding you to enter your mini tank if you have already done so. I'm attempting to reach out to everyone who showed interest in this thread, to hopefully catch a few people who forgot about this contest. (:

amazing build, how did you build the micro ATO?

So I JUST ordered one because I’ve been eyeing doing another tank. Had originally wanted to add a dwarf seahorse tank to the two we have but am lacking that extent of funding. When does this actually start? Am I too late?

Yeah, unfortunately the cutoff for ordering was October to participate. The official start date was Oct. 1st. You're still welcome to follow along and update us on your progress as well, but you won't be eligible for the prizes.

Never got a chance to set up mine, considering selling it. Not sure if I should set it up around Christmas with a few zoa's or listed in the marketplace. Been so busy with work...

I was really hoping to follow along with the monthly updates from people to get more inspiration. What happened to those? Is the contest no longer happening?

Ive started over a couple of times. These things are hard. I had high hopes but not i'm feeling kind of defeated.
:(

Mine’s been running since October, I just keep missing the updates.

It’s got a grube’s gorgonian, jawbreaker, and some sort of zoas (magicians?). It’s also got 2 or 3 asterinas, a few limpets, and some bristle worms. I’ve thought about adding something else, like even potentially a Pom Pom crab since the tank seems so stable, and they pretty much stick to one spot, but I don’t want to stress it, nor rock the boat.

I have an ATO tied into the back using an aqualifter and an autoaqua ATO to keep salinity stable. Very minimal salt creep, but it does happen. I just wipe it off, and monitor salinity, adding new SW as needed to get it back up.

I’m just gonna stay the course!
