The tanks been running for 140 days and is doing great. I hava a 20 gallon AIO with 16 corals, 3 fish, and a rather good size clean up crew. However, just recently I've noticed a strange sort of "sponge" like growth at the base of my torch coral. I did notice in the last week my torch hasn't been opening fully as normal. It has done this in the past where it just wouldn't fully extend for a day or two. Is this something that should be if concern? I have a hammer and a Cristata near it but both are full and happy when lights on. This picture is several hours before lights on.

Ciliate sponge and will continue to grow
Try to peel off and discard
Not a filter feeding sponge so just taking up space
