So my tank has been up for about two months. 20 gallons, live rock, a few small corals, anemone, coral banded shrimp, sea urchin, and a couple of snails. I have a maroon clown, a bangi cardnial fish, and a wrasse i just added today (orange with purple stripe).

\Anyways, I'm thinking about adding some more fish, but want to make sure they will be hardy and non aggressive. So far everyone is getting along pretty well.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Chalk Bass is a hardy friendly fish. Just make sure you don't overstock your system. Hopefully some of the veteran fish keepers will give you advice.

2 months is a very short time to keep anything in but if done correctly it can be a fast start. I did my setup and one day later was able to add coral and fish. But i used used water, cycled rock, live sand and about 3 bottles of nitrifying bacteria. Everythinf is extremely happy, had my fair share of a few algae outbreaks but so far have overcome it. I have some dinos which twilliard is helping me try to identify. Metro did work for mine but found it that it may be a strain of dinos that is beneficial to the tank so stopped to try to grow them so we have samples to test.

Not to be pessimistic, but things will go downhill quick if too much is done too fast....First hand experience. Maroons are known to be a holes. Monitor your parameters at least weekly(if you don't have reliable test kits, then I would suggest getting some: preferably not Api). Let your tank bacteria catch up to the bio load before adding any other livestock; otherwise you may run into ammonia issues. One important lesson that I have learned is that it is better to err on the side of caution for the sake of your livestock. Nothing good happens fast in this hobby.
