Update on my old tank and profile

I haven't posted here in a year or so and a lot has changed since then so I figured I would give an update on whats happening with my hobby! Unfortunately I no longer have my 20 gallon reef tank, in summer 2021 my life was very busy to the point I could no longer keep my tank and had to give away. A reef tank requires a lot of maintenance I couldn't keep up with at the time. Recently however things have changed and a few months ago I set up a 10 gallon freshwater planted tank with cherry shrimp, comparitively easier to keep at least in my experience! At some point in the future I would love to keep saltwater animals again, though that won't be for a long time. So until then I may pop here occassionally asking questions and learning more about reef keeping! I hope this kind of post is appropriate, I just felt if anyone is visiting my profile they may wonder what has happened to my old reef.

I have a 20g with a single blue damsel that I literally do nothing to, but feed, well I top off the ato but that's it, well I guess I clean the hob filter media once every few months but that's it! lol
