Update on the reef

Just bought a 150 reactor(what media works best for getting rid of hair algae?) amd just hooked up my t5's(2-actinic , 1- 6500k, 1-10k) along with my hydras although I did decrease them by 30% and ramping them back up in a one month period. Also Got a nice clam (any advise on it?)

Looking good! For hair algae I try to reduce phosphates. You can use different methods, but the most popular seems to be GFO. Just be careful to track it so you don't shock your system. People also have success with gradually raising magnesium. Keep up the good work!
