Ok I think I have finalized my build. I have 2 remaining questions. 1. Where can I find a good layout of how the plumbing should be laid out for a 90 gallon tank and a trigger 36 ruby sump.diagrams and videos would be greatly appreciated. 2. What size return pump do I need for that set up. Any recommended brands that won't break the bank? The sump comes with a refugium so I would use that once I'm ready to add fish. I really can't seem to find any good videos about setting up that particular sump. Here is my updated list. I have also attached a picture the stand I built. I got the ideas from here in the Diy section. It's 2x4 frame with oak plywood and trim.

Plans so far total of 1674.00 trying to stay below 1800.00 I'll upgrade cheap components as money allows.
90 gallon used tank with corner overflow from lfs
36 ruby sump
Sb reeflight 32 wifi extreme
Jabeo rw-8 x2
Either a coralife 125 skimmer or a bubble 5 any thoughts on tnese? They seem highly reviewed.
Eheim 200 watt heater eventually adding a second as a back up
BRS RO/DI 75gpd
80 lbs Carib sea live sand
90 lbs dry rock from Billy's reef connection. Would reef saveer from BRS be better?

A few months from now when money permits I'll add an apex junior. Once again I greatly appreciate everyone's thoughts and opinions.

Congrats on the build!
Great job on the stand. It really looks good.
The Vectra M1 return pump would work well for you. Either one of those skimmers would be fine.

Why do you want to use dry rock?

Thank you. Spent about 225.00 to build the stand. Only thing I'm not happy with is that I went with pine to frame the oak plywood on the doors. Doesn't hold the stain as well,as the oak.

Nice work on the stand.

As far as plumbing goes, you should try to make it future compatible as possible. Think ahead on if you want reactors. If so, then maybe a manifold would be in order. There are a ton of nice builds here to look through.

Here are some nice threads to review as well:

Dry rock is way cheaper than wet, I also want to avoid any pests. Is this not a good route to take? I'd love to buy the vectra pump but way to much money right now. Anything cheaper to recommend? What gph rate should I be aiming for?

Congrats on the build!

Dry rock is a good route to avoid pest. It also takes a good bit longer to cycle.
There are some general recommendations on gph but I like the option to adjust the speed.
