What do you guys think? The waterfall is a little bit easier to implement for me, but it seems to also be more maintenance with keeping the pipe slow clean. The updraft just requires and air pump, essentially. I was planning on putting it on one side of my refugium, which isn't setup yet (but needs to be, anyway), so its a bit more work up front, but should be more simple long term.

Has anyone in the club tried an updraft scrubber?

Depending on where is it you may get a lot of salt creep due to the bubbles bursting and slashing on surfaces.

Good point. I'll bet I could find a way to reduce that, though... maybe an acrylic box to catch the salt spray.

Do you have a lot of creep with your scrubber in your sump?
