Upgrade !!! 55g to 75g

With the 75 I'm going to take advantage of this and get rid of the crushed coral and replace it with live sand and I'm going to see If I can make a sump for it if not I'm going to have my 80lbs of live rock in with a Instant Ocean SCPS-100 SeaClone Protein Skimmer and I'm getting a noter Koralia for lots of flow and the bulbs are going to be
Blue+
Coral+
Blue+
Blue+
Purple+
Blue+
I'm also getting the Hanna phosphate checker

My 75 is 48 side to side x 18 front to back x 21 top to bottom. My 90 is the same except 24 top to bottom. A 6 bulb fixture on an 18" tank is pretty much ideal. With that bulb layout (almost identical to what I'm running except I have an Aquablue Special instead of Coral+) your house will look like you're growing something other than coral with all the blue leaking out around the blinds.

Is your 75 reef ready or are you going to use an HOB overflow?

It was used as a angle fish(fresh) tank so I'm putting the angles with my other American cichlids and I'm still waiting to get the tank it's not drilled and not reef ready tank but IV heard bad story's about hob overflows

calvo what combo do you think would be good for a 4 bulb over a 55 gallon, pretty much the same dimensions as the 75 you guys speak of, but instead of 18" wide it's only 13 wide...thanks

A lot of it is personal preference as to how much blue you want, but if I were to go to a 4 bulb fixture, I'd go (3) Blue+ and (1) Purple+, Coral+, or Aquablue Special. The Special would add some white back.

I was told its 48l-18w-48tall about

48x18x48 would be close to 170 gallons and you'd need a massive light to get any par to the sand (not to mention anything above 36" would be fried)
