Howdy all, I've got an almost 2 year old 10gal nano reef and a 3gal pico reef that I set up almost 2 months ago by transplanting some substrate from my older tank. Both are doing very well and have matured nicely.
Now I also have a 75 gal tank with a 29 gal sump that was intended as an upgrade to my current setup, my plan was to incorporate both smaller tanks to cycle my larger tank. But both smaller tanks are fully stocked with corals, nems, fish, and inverts. So as the day of the swap over draws closer I've grown anxious about the stability of the system and whether or not my corals will suffer from the change over. I'm not so worried about the bio-load, to be honest I'm not really sure what I'm worried about but I figured It would be best to seek input anyways.
Any advice or input is greatly appreciated and I'd love to know your experience with upgrades, moves, or big changes like this.
