hi im moving next week and my corals and fish have been in a nano tank 60L.
I have a TMC signature 900 180L that i want to put everything in the 180L tank whats the best way to do this.

I buy new live sand. I was thinking keep as much water from nano tank and top up with fresh salt water would this work and be ok or do i start the 180L tank from scratch.

No sump for this tank

Correct, keep as much water from your 60L as possible, and use that in your new tank. Definitely use new live sand. You may go through a mini cycle with the new tank with that big of an old water to new water ratio. But nothing to bad. Just monitor your levels for the following week and do water changes as needed to keep everything in line :)

+1 I went from a 64L to a 150L . Reuse existing rock and water. Added new live sand and additional live rock. Had probably 30 pieces of coral only lost a couple but I think it was due to miss handling.

Yeah definitely keep those corals wet if possible. If you have to take them out of water, try to make it for only a couple minutes at a time, or pour water over them to keep them wet. I lost an acropora that was on his own rock because i forgot about him and he got to dry. Luckily he was tiny so it wasn't a huge loss. But a loss still it is.
