I’ll be upgrading from a 175g + frag tank to a 360g + frag. I have a huge area in the fish room but prefer to have the new (to me) aquarium in the current space. I need a few months to refinish / polish the new tank, build lighting mounts, etc. I’ll re-use most of the equipment for now. Options:
1. Leave as-is and do the big swap over one weekend. Basically, mix more water and transfer the 175g to the 360g
2. Move the 175g out, out new 360g in its place, restart cycle and move rocks, corals, and fish slowly over time
3. ??

What do you guys recommend?

Still waiting for the tank to arrive tomorrow but just thinking ahead…. Will start a new Build thread - super excited!

The new setup will be all white so the frag tank will get drained and repainted

Or thinking of getting an aluminum stand for it… or get rid of the frag tank altogether. Will see
