moving my 18 month old IM20 to an IM30 sometime this weekend. thoughts on plan?

1. leak test new tank

2. transfer rock work and livestock into totes/buckets with bubbler, heater. I plan on reusing as much old tank water as possible.

3. put sand in new tank first (agra alive special grade). only using a scoop or two of old sand. sandbed will be 1.5-2”

4. pump premixed saltwater in new tank with same temp/SG as old tank water (as carefully as possible to avoid silt cloud, which is inevitable, but id like to limit)

5. put rockwork into new tank setup, pump rest of old water in, add livestock from old tank.

does this sound like an OK plan? thoughts

was on the fence about rinsing the “live sand” to cut down on silt, but thinking if I pump the water in, say over a plastic bag to let it disperse out on initial fill, I should be OK. besides a mini ammonia spike, which I’ll monitor, only thing that was worrying me was the silt affecting the livestock, but after research here seemed like everything would be fine, unaffected and its the ammonia/nitrate I need to watch (have prime on hand).
