Im hoping to start collecting things slow and steady plan replan and plan again. Right the first time..... maybe lol

That's what I did. Started with a small budget...and that budget grew pretty quickly lol. But one of my favorite shortcuts in life is to do it right the first time

You know that even the best laid plans only last till the #*it hits the fan lol. I will probably be at plan E by the time aquarium is running. R2R is an awesome resource, I hope I can be half as much help as quite a few of the R2R vets.

So im gonna drill thanks to @mixer911 with senergy and his awesome video. I havent found tbe tank yet though [emoji22] im still looking. Was considering a marineland but im building my own stand ans ive heard some interesting things about their warranty with diy stands. Aqueon is an option. It really stinks... every aquarium ive been through so far has been 2nd hand. Good tanks for my budget, my hopes are to have a new 120. Idk budget is still really tight.

From everyones exp. What am i looking at cost wise for a 48x24x24 120 gal. Glass aquarium? Just the aquarium, nit reef ready or anything in it. And which company? Im looking for opinions here... [emoji102]

Still looking at this upgrade. Got an overflow similar to the ghost different company come with glass bit and everything needed. And less than the ghost overflow. Waiting till i can afford the tank now. Im looking at going triton method with this i love big refugiums. Possibly a diy acrylic. I do digital design and have a basic cnc cutting program. Idk. Any thoughts on gluing together ill have to find a good company to supply and cut glass. I can send files. I live in sarasota bradenton area any suggetions would be cool if anyone knows of a good place. Anyways my lil tank is soing good cant wait to upgrade. Oh btw irma wasnt too bad here ran a genny for about 16 hrs. Power was out for maybe 26 hrs. Hoping for upgrade soon!!! When i do ill start the build thread as i put it together.

working towards this still. Right now I am in the process of poaring a concrete slab to move my room/shed too. Moved aquarium into the main house temporarily. I was curious if anyone has found an all glass 48Lx30Wx24T. this would be the best size for me i think its a 150 technically, but i want the width more than the height. Cost is a major concern as of this point and Im leaning toward just sticking to the 120 (48Lx24Wx24T).

If anyone has any thoughts let me know. Im partial to glass, not a fan of acrylic for display tanks that is. love them for sumps and other containers though.
