Upgrade Red Sea max E-260 skimmer

Has anyone upgraded their stock Max E 260 skinner? Mine doesn’t seem to produce very much skimmate and I would like to upgrade to a better filtration system.

I don’t know for sure, but I’m not sure it’s ‘upgradeable’ because of were it’s placed and the design. The Max E260 was my first tank.

Do you have nutrients in the water to remove, because if your at low levels it won’t produce much

@SPR1968 Yeah it’s in a pretty tight spot in the Sump. I've got high nutrients and battling algae problems right now. I’ve cut down on my feeding but don’t think my fish like that too much.
