Upgrade testing ?

Hi

Just upgraded my 120g to 180g-mixed reef soft and lps

used majority of water from old system and added what was needed

brought over live rock and added caribsea life rock for remaining needs

did not tale sandbed and added new sand

trying not to buy test kits-ammonia and nitrite-should i be actively testing

part of me says whatevwr ia going to cycle is going to cycle and im stuck dealing with the fall out

thoughts

Essentially one big water change

Seems reasonable to me. Monitor your corals, they speak to you.
