Hello, I am planning to upgrade my 10 gallon tank into a 29 gallon tank and concerting my 10 gallon into a sump.
what is the best way to go about it?
I currently have 2 occelaris clowns, a bicolor Blenny, 2 emerald crabs and 3 scarlet reef hermits.
If I use the old water and old rocks in my current tank into the new one, do I still have to cycle the 29 gallon?

There will be a cycle, but probably very minimal if you use everything from the 10 gallon.
Biggest suggestion, have EVERYTHING ready to go before you start. Once things get going, it's no time to realize you need something..
Move everything to buckets or a container. Keep a heater in there with some sort of powerhead. You'd be amazed at how fast the temp can drop.
Move quickly but directly setting up the 29. Move everything thing into the bigger tank as soon as you can. Think of it as a really big water change..
Best of luck, and post up pix!!

Thank you! I will definitely post up pics when I have everything ready! I’m working on getting everything together right now actually, I’m waiting on the things I ordered in the mail to come in and I’m ready to go
