Hello I am in the planning phase, ok budget phase as well, from my IM. 40 to IM112, Listed below is the equipment I am considering;

Innovative Marine; ( this is my favorite tank brand)

112 gallons and Aps stand.
15 gallon reservoir
3 Wave links
Helio 700 Watt

Triger

Ruby 30, Appears to be the biggest I can fit the stand

Reef Octopus

150INt Various.
Auto Skimmer neck
Skimmer waste collector

Various 8 return pump

AI

2 - 32 HD. ( have one on current tank)
Prime 16 Red fuge
Mounts for both

2- Nero 5 (have another already)

Tunse. 3155 (own one)

Debating adding Apex or GHL?

Of course Rock and sand......

Open for suggestions one different equipment....

Are you only considering Trigger sumps when you say that it is the largest that you can fit?

I would personally forego the neck cleaner on the skimmer and go more into lighting if you are wanting to use only one 32hd on the entire display.

2 32s would suffice but it ultimately depends on your stocking goals when it comes to corals.

Does anyone have any experience with Fuji Sumps? I missed them when I was researching on BRS?

Anyone have option between the Fuji Cube or Trigger Ruby red. both are one the 30 inch in length, that would fit in the stand, Unless there are other ideas I have considered?

Hello, First thanks to all the provided inputs.... Well After some careful planning it appears that the IM 112 might be to imposing for the space I have..... My Local store offers Red Sea tanks, here good things about them... He was thinking the Reefer 350, After comparing I think the 425 might fit in space I have....

Reefer 350. or Reefer 425XL.

I See water volume is greater in 425, but is there anything else I am missing with the XL series?

Also I have read a few post where owner don't like the Read sea sumps and replace with a different on?

I did see that sea sea will becoming out with their own fleece roller

Upgrade update, I have changed on which tank will be my upgrade..... Red Sea 425xl, Do to the fact my LFS sales them, easier for help with delivery and set up, and if needed warranty.

I do have one big question with all the new info about the possibility of our hobby ending with these bills trying to be passed. Would one still invest into a new tank, if soon they are unable to get anything for it? I have read the bill, but can't make heads or tails on what might happen. I was told Randy made a video on BRS, can't find it.

I have a Bashsea and love it, but I also had no issues with my trigger on my previous 120, both would do their intended job.

Red Sea 425XL. Option A; Flow, 2 Nero 5, and a Nero 3..... Or. Option B; Red Sea gyre 45 and Nero 5, My tank will be mixed reef, LPS dominate. I am waiting on the Red Sea mat roller before I purchase, along with more info on that bill about our hobby's future.

With Red Sea offering a sale I made the decision to make the Purchase. I am Getting the Red Sea 425Xl, Black stand . Did some bundling getting Red Sea skimmer, gyre, 2 channel dosing pump, door panel, Waiting on the Red Sea Roller mat... Will adding AI 32 (I currently have one) Nero 5 (have one) AI prime Refug light, Will be getting IM 15gal reservoir, Using IM Helio heater

Hello. Are you interested in buying a brand new or a somewhat used tank

I went with a new tank from my local fish store... I did a very serious debate on the tank upgrade... My current tank has lots of Coral, and there will be room for me to keep my Blue star leopard long term, and Mandarian as well, Hopefully the power house in the industry can find some common ground, to stop the depletions of our reefs, or add Ie Lions to environments that they have no predators. Plus I hope I does push for more captive breed fish. We as reefers need to support this, yes prices points make it challenging
