Just decided to go naked on redsea 130D ,firstly so easy to take the lid off in one piece ,just get a thin blade screw driver between the head of the hinge pins and retainer and wriggle it out ,same with lift hinges , any how my proton 84 clamps perfectly at the back to give you a great central position but am I too high at 10 inch I have egg crate as a lid (which doesn't seem to change the light intensity ) and on my other I have glass...there is no info on these lights ,it seems to be trial and error

Egg crate can be light filtering and cause injury to potential jumpers. Best bet is to try one yourself with a nice screen.
