Hello everyone in February i moved into a bigger apartment so of course i had to upgrade my Nuvo 10 to a Lagoon 25 my clownfish i had for the last 8 years both died last week due to a temperature spike of 87. My question is what kind of stocking is recommended I'm thinking of buying 2 Captive Bred Mandarins and 2 sea horses.

What is anyone else suggestions can i get a pgymy angel i read a lot of articles saying yes and no.

Just wondering how others stock their Lagoon 25

Yea i know but i would buy both Captive Bred to maximize my chances of success I'm kinda tired of keeping clownfish so looking for a new cool fish

Seahorses and mandarins are going to be a lot of work. Try an angle or something instead if you want something to feed. Upside is only feed him a couple times per week vs a couple times per day without fail on seahorses. I love mine and he's in my 25 lagoon (which is plumbed to my main display but...). So much character. He comes out whenever he hears the tap or sees the feeding stick and swims around it.

Mandarins are hard enough to keep in a large tank much less a 25g nano. Captive bred or not there is a high chance they would slowly parish.

Mandarins rely on a very well established tank and copods as a natural food source.

You need to give thought on how you will feed these fish should they go off eating frozen foods, which they have been known to.

What's good for the fish, not what's just good for you.

Meant to be angler. I'm guessing my phone didn't get that and changed it for me without me paying attention.
By angler I assume you mean frogfish.... which is what I myself will be putting in a 25 nuvo.

So I have to agree if you want something different and that you have to feed then a frogfish would be something to consider... again research this fish as if you get bored with it, you can't just add tank mates with it.

You can add tankmates to it... you just may never see them again. :) I'm stunned at what this little guy fits in his mouth. He's probably doubled in size since I got him, but when I first got him he was about the size of my pinky nail and he would take down some pretty impressive quantities of food even at that size.
