Upgraded tank! Suggestions

Hey guys! I just transferred my 14G biocube to a cycled 55G tank! Been a long month staring at an empty tank. However I do have questions regarding my sand. I had black Hawaiian substrate in the ild tank and I was going for sleek white dank this time. During the transfer some of the black substrate also came. Any tips on cleaning it out?

I would just suck it out while doing a water change. You could get a long piece of acrylic tube and attach it to some airline and do a micro water change and suck it up

Thanks!! I saw something about panty house in the end of my auction? Might try that too.

When you use them you avoid picking up sand, but you want to pick it up. The pantyhose works like a screen so you don't pick it up.

At least that's how I take it.....lol
