How would i match a pump to an overflow?

Just pick a pump that is less than the rating for the overflow. I would shoot for about 5 times tank turnover or 100 gph. You will want to look at the rating for the pump with about 4’ of head pressure

As you can see the sicce 1.5 would be right in that range

That one is probably a little small I would go with the 1.0
