In the near future I am going to be upgrading my 15AIO to a 40b with a sump and have a few questions. Here are my plans.

Using a cup or so of old sand and the rest all new sand.

15-20 lbs Reef cleaners dry rock along with the existing 20 lbs in my current tank.

Matching the parameters and transferring everything at once.

Would this be okay if I just keep the current bio load(fish) for a month or so to allow the rock to become live then slowly add a fish per month?

I have SPS, LPS and zoas.

Should be fine as long as you match everything up, would not add any additional fish for a while, and test, test, test...
the current live rock will seed new and act to buffer the bio-load until the dry rock has been seeded.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
