Upgrading from a 29 to 55 gallon

So in the past I have fought dinos in my 29 gallon tank. Now that it is gone I have green hair and cyano again. I want to use my live rock to add to what I bought new but don't want the algae with it and of course, I don't want to kill off all of the beneficial bacteria. Suggestions are welcome. I did already use a peroxide/saltwater mixture and scrubbed a few small ones off and placed them into the new tank. I have many more to do and don't really want to do that to all of them.

Also, can I put a piece of live rock that has algae on it in my HOB refugium or Will the algae still make it into my main tank?
